Too Long

I do enjoy answering Brandon's questions to his Twitter folks! I've been thinking for a while now, if not a while, for quite too long how I would answer his question.

I can never get enough of this song and how it makes me ponder on the things that is really important in my life. In this moment for me, I think I should not complain about my studies and how it is going to take me a while to finish what I had started doing. It will be a long, long way to go and I hope to just keep going and focused on myself, and not forgetting why I wanted those things for myself in the first place.

That is also a lesson learnt for many of us. Keep believing!

There's no reason to fight
'Cause you battle the world every day of your life
And I've been watching you cry for Too Long

There's no reason to frown
'Cause I promise you soon, I will turn it around
Life's been holding you down for Too Long

You've got so much reason to laugh
I've got a picture of this, should I remind you of that?
They've been holding you back for Too Long

There's so much you haven't lived
You gotta run with a saint and take a walk with a sin
They've been sinking your ship for Too Long

There's no reason to fight
'Cause you battle the world every day of your life
And I've been watching you cry for Too Long

The Memory (Feat. Victoria Bernardo & Ryan Stead) from Digital Citizen by Marques Videography

To start off this post, first and foremost, I want to give some love to all who have been so supportive of this blog the time it was ever created! Now in 2017, 4 years of this blog's existence, given this opportunity would like to thank you for all the love and support for The Latency!

If you notice this is like the first ever blog post in 2017 I guess the objective of blogging once a week about The Latency was not even met. I guess we all could not stick to that now since I am blogging once a year it seems, haha!

Jumping right to the point, out of the blue I thought of opening the blog's email inbox. It was sent in around July and I got to only read it in November.

To my surprise I received an email with regards to Ryan Stead doing a guest guitar solo for the song "The Memory". The song was written by Philip Marques together with singer Victoria Bernardo and also the email was sent in by the songwriter himself which really awesome!

It is a collaborative EP called "Digital Citizen" which was released on December 6, 2016. I am going listen to it right now and enjoy! You should too! Here are the links:

Kyle Stibbs and Brandon Lehti's brand new cover, Restart!

Basically, you guys have to look out for Kyle and Brandon because they are going for YouTube, releasing videos and posting great covers or original for first Monday of each month! Exactly like the cool video below.

I really liked the creative idea of the video with its funny scenes, bloopers and it shows they do the best to connect to the people watching and listening at the same time. Definitely a video I will watch over and over again especially the cover they did for Nick Jonas' song, "Jealous". If you haven't watched it, you're missing out on the best video by far!

Positive to say that Kyle and Brandon will be making more videos because here's the fact. I just subscribed to their channel: KylePlusBrandon!

The Latency Fan Moments: On the set of Fork In The Road

I may be behind updating the blog but I'm never too late to share a great news!

I received an email from a long time fan of The Latency. And since this my first ever blog written in 2014, I would like to give a shout out first and foremost to Chelsea! It has been a pleasant surprise to have read her personal experience with the boys.

Chelsea had a chance to actually made it in the music video set of Fork In The Road, January 2010, in Toronto. Her role in the music video (together with other fans) was basically, students of the school.

No worries, you can watch Fork In The Road music video right here, FULL SCREEN and you might even recognize yourself in it! Relive the moment!

Chelsea has also recently told me that she was behind the Twitter account (@TeamGendron). Sounds familiar? Yes? Yes. It is to me! You know, we all love Mathew when... Anyway, she has come up with caption for each of the photos she sent in!

I'm on the end beside Mat. :)

Photo 2: The Birthday boy and his tiara! haha. (Jonny, too!)

Ones of my favs… Mat and I!

Waiting for the cameras to roll again!

Brandon & I!

A shot of us in the video. :)

Hanging out on set!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That's not all. Chelsea was also able to share a video! This is special. This next one...
The fans were eager to sing happy birthday to Brandon as the filming of the video was close to his 20th birthday. They seize the moment and couldn't leave without greeting the birthday boy. He didn't expect the mini celebration for his upcoming birthday.
I think the video is definitely a treat from Chelsea, including it in the email. I'm literally over the moon for Brandon's birthday celebration, even though it happened 4 years ago?... He didn't look like 20 in the video, in my opinion.. He got himself cake and a tiara! Cute!
I enjoyed this very much as you all know by now, my love for The Latency started all because of one song. That is, Fork in the Road! This is exactly Fork in the Road related post. I'm just so in love with it. If you want, you can read the very first blog I've written. Some kind of history going on. Drama. CLICK HERE
I want to thank Chelsea for sharing the photos and everything that I thought I would never find out. I'm so fortunate to have been able to know more of what I missed out. All I wanted to say is that I'm thankful for Chelsea's help in contributing to the "Share Your Fan Moments"  (fans column). This has been really nice. Thank you Chelsea!
I never thought anyone would be interested to even click that page. But if you do, let's take the time to reminisce the moments you've had with the boys. Share your moments and for more details on how you can send in your entry. Check out the fans column: CLICK HERE
Until the next post, everybody! Have a great week ahead!
